Santa Ema Sauvignon Blanc, D.O. Maipo Valley, Chile, 2010
Selected terroir. 1956. Estate bottled. In 1917 my father, Pedro Voglino, emigrated from the Piamonte region in Italy and arrived in Chile's Maipo Valley. His vision was to produce the best possible wines that Chile could offer. Today, along with my family and a qualified team of professionals, we keep the traditions inherited from our Italian ancestry - Felix Pavone. Our Sauvignon Blanc comes from grapes grown in the Maipo Valley. A brilliantly clear wine, straw yellow in color with perfumed aromas that are fruity, fresh and light. The apple and citric finish is long and pleasant with a hint of ripe pear. Alc. 13% by vol. Produced and bottled by Vinos Santa, Ema S.A., Isla, de Maipo, Chile.
